[TenTec] OMNI D Help Needed

Thanks to all for the many helpful comments on my PTO concerns. Another gremlin has surfaced all at once; up to this point everything seemed to be chugging along nicely. 
: 
1 Digital readout reads 1.000.0 or 91.000.0 or 09000.0 depending on band 
2 OFFSET function has no effect on digital readout; OT LED illuminates but that's all. 

3 No freq. readout change when tuning main dial 
4 No power output w/ RF ammeter reading zero with DRIVE full clockwise. PS meter shows1 or 2A current draw w/ DRIVE full CW 

5 Slight "white noise" tonal change when rotating MODE switch 
6 Can hear weak crystal calibrator signal but cannot use main tuning knob to change frequency. RESONATOR has no effect on weak calibrator signal 

I removed the front panel to remove the trim ring for repair and wonder if I pinched a wire somewhere that could have caused a resistor to heat and open up causing the gremlin? No sigh of overheating or smell. 

This is rapidly getting past my comfort zone
