[TenTec] New TT rigs...thoughts

Just went to a presentation by Flex Radio last night at a DX club 
meeting in Austin.  Flex has a broader line now, and direct sampling, 
with multi receiver rig available.  Now you can do SO2R with ONE radio!
Once software is written, the possibility of SO 8 R is on the horizon!

Flex has also introduced a touch screen accessory display that also 
makes various option operations possible to control over digital cabling 
rather than having a multitude of coaxes and accessory cables.

These work with the 6000 series of radio models.
This is definitely the wave of future radios,-- direct sampling.
Icom has one, and others, can Ten Tec be far behind?
