[TenTec] O2 wont hold SSB TX width setting.

Greetings to all.

I have an Orion 2 with Firmware 3.033xd. The SSB transmit sounds a whole lot better when changed from 2400 to 2700KHz. However, when I turn the radio off, that setting is lost. I have to re-input that setting every time I operate, which is tedious. Back-up battery was changed about a year ago and in any case every other setting changed from default is retained, except for the one I mention. Is this a common problem please or is it an oddie on my radio? Does anyone know of a fix or work-around? I have tried storing it in "USER" menu but it doesnt hold even with that.
