Thanks a lot Mike, that answers the ALC aspect of the question. Just for clarification though, you say to set the ALC SET to where the actual RF output as measured by an external wattmeter is about 110% of the pwr setting on the front panel. In this case you're looking for 110W on the external meter, correct?  Is the number on the front panel (100 in this case) supposed to represent power output in watts or percentage of maximum output? Is this possibly where the PWR pot comes into play, to adjust power output reading on the analog meter?
