Well as nice as all of that sounds, I'm not sure we would be all that happy
with the filter selection.
Since I mostly only get on the air on the weekends, the bands are so crowded
that I find myself always having to select 1800 Hz to get the narrower
roofing filter in my Eagle.

I think something like 2000 Hz would suffice but there is no option for
that.
So certainly some sort of narrower SSB filter is necessary.

Today's cost of Xtal filters will drive the price of a 6-filter radio sky
high.

In order for a manufacturer to make money, it will have to sell hundreds of
radios.
I don't think you'll find that many buyers for such a radio, though as I
said, I certainly would like to have one.
Probably wouldn't spend that much money on the radio, though.
