[TenTec] Orion II unexpected master reset

Good morning all!  Yesterday when I shut down for the evening, everything on my Orion II was working normally.

Now this morning when I first turn the OII back on, it is as if I had done a master reset. All my settings that I had customized in the menus are gone and the OII comes up with the freq on 14.250. What gives with this. All I did was turn the rig on. What happened to cause this??
Additional notes:
I had replaced the battery and reset connections back in 2012 and also replaced the A9 board caps at that time. 

I have now completed a "RAM Clear" and "Master Reset" process and put my changes back into the menus. Version shows V3.033xd and "DSP 2.11b410. The date shows July 9, 2013. 

Any thoughts?
