[TenTec] Replaced Snaphat battery in O2

I noticed that after sitting a few days, my O2 would show that, upon
power up a master reset had been performed and that I would be queried
about whether i had an RX-366 installed. This has all the signs of a
failing battery. I have a repair invoice from July 2013 that states
"Battery Replaced" along with other work that had been done. I assumed
that replaced battery was the Snaphat battery that holds the state of
the rig when it's powered down. The rig is about 9 y old and, if I
interpret this note correctly, the Snaphat battery is only a bit over 3
y old.If that's the case, I'm surprised because and I thought they were
good for something like 10 y. If another battery were replaced where is
it? There are two sizes of these and I chose the larger one as the
replacement.

On a separate note, I may have a failing PBT/BW encoder. I have a
replacement but when I was in there replacing the Snaphat battery, I
noticed that replacing this encoder will not be easy. What's the proper
procedure?
