Great, glad that worked.
The previous owner of my Orion 2 had all 3 filters in backwards too.  I
noticed they didn't have any selectivity !

Check how they are plugged in.  On mine the labels should be readable from
the back of the radio.  If inserted the wrong way the filter is bypassed.
