Good comments Scott,

I have the Eagle and TS-590s. The 590s has a good receiver and is good 
on transmit spectral purity. The Eagle beats it on actual use on CW. 
Using the RF gain control I can reduce background noise far better than 
I can with the 590.

Anyone check the audio distortion on the 7300? I imagine it is right up 
there with the 590 at about 10%.? The Eagle is very pleasant to listen to.
