Robert,

Wash your eyes out one more time, have a cup of strong coffee, then take
another look.

The Bare-Bones RX cost $2000 and is missing all kinds of standard features
that all other radios have.

A basic TEN-WATT transceiver with standard equipment like notch filter,
noise blanker, etc, costs $3700.
You can buy the 250w amplifier for it and then it costs $4350.
I'm not sure if this is the price for the Kit, or Fully Assembled - but I
think that is the kit price... and it's not a kit like Elecraft's kit that
are built in 2 or 3 hours, these will take a hundred hours to build, or
more.

And what do you get for that?
Answer: Who knows?

With Elecraft, you can buy the K3S-F, 100w transceiver for $3200 and you
even get an Elecraft Baseball Cap to boot!
And what do you get for that?
Answer: One of the best ham radio transceivers ever made.

Of course they sell higher end versions with more filters, 2nd RX, etc, but
at least you can buy a working 100w radio for $3200.

Now the next questions:
Have you ever heard of anyone winning a contest with the DZ?
Have you ever heard of anyone taking a DZ on a DX-pedition?

As Kim wrote, if they want credibility, they should send a working unit to
the ARRL Labs, Rob Sherwood, or Adam Farson.
IMO (and this is only my opinion), if the radio was anything like their
advertisement claims, they would have done that by now.

Rick

I see others talk about various brands other than ten-tec from time to time.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the DZ Transceiver our of
Colorado?

Tnx,
