My sympathy... I fixed my Paragon PLL 2 or 3 times over the years. This
summer I fixed multiple PLL problems for a local ham. His Paragon had
been off the air for years. After I fixed it, it ran for a week, then
the power supply pass transistors blew for some unknown reason. He
switched to a Astron supply and th Paragon ran fine until he reported
that it was "shutting down" when he increased the power to more than a
few watts. Sigh... That guy's Paragon is cursed. He is now using a
Kenwood that someone gave him.
