[TenTec] Missing display digits Omni VI+

If it's the same board as the Omni V, there are soldered wires passing
from one side of the display board to the other, some under socketed chips.
Those wires must have been floor sweepings; they have corroded in
my O-5 a time or two. Heat them with a small soldering iron or replace
them with copper....and you will be in business!
You will have to study the thing carefully to find the pass-thrus, but it
is an easy fix if you are careful.
The Omni-V and Omni-VI are great radios!

The other segments appear bright in the photo he emailed me. I guess I packed it to survive a kick off a 4' high lift-gate, and the gorillas kicked this one off a 5' high gate. UGGGH! Is there any particular (Easy to get to) connector this fellow can try to "wriggle", to see if the solution to the partial readout can be easily had? He's willing to replace the bulb for the meter...... He's on Cape Cod, if anyone is interested in being a hero to both of us ;-).
