You'll need a USB to serial adapter.  Something like this
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5866899&SRCCODE=3WGOOGLEBASE&cm_mmc_o=VRqCjC7BBTkwCjCECjCE&scid=scbplp7378756&sc_intid=7378756&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=SC%20Shopping%20-%20Brands%2FNumbers&utm_term=4581458795429691&utm_content=All%20Products

I would think the cable that's used to connect the rig to the Dell
laptop will work with an adapter like this.  If not, the pinout for the
cable is in the Omni VI manual.
