Joe, to make the radio transmit you will  need to know the serial port 
"COM" number used for keying PTT.  On the radio setup screen under "PTT 
Port" open the drop down menu and near the bottom of the list you should 
see your COM port listed.  Select that, then check both "Enable RTS" and 
"Enable DTR".  Then "Update".

At this point I usually close the WINLINK session and start from the 
home screen.  For some reason  the program often won't key PTT until I 
do that.   Winlink bug maybe...I dunno but restarting has always caused 
things to work properly.
