I haven't experienced it in my Paragon but I have read other post where that
issue was traced to shorted PIN diodes in the LPF.

Paragon rx and tx all bands except on 80 where there is no output but weak
receve signal.when I connect the antenna to the aux. ant jack ,on back of
radio,by passing the low pass filter board,receve signal is normal but,
still no output .think problem in lpf board .having trouble,trouble
