[TenTec] OMNI VI option 3 slow to come to life

When I  turn on my OMNI VI it takes between 30 - 60 seconds or more before the rig springs into life and starts receiving. During that time there is a low frequency audio  that increases in volume and frequency until “pop” it comes to life.

Would that be the crystal oven or something else?  Any ideas would be appreciated.
