Hi Stuart,

  Also in play is the diode capacitance (related to switching speed of
course) and the forward resistance.  The BA482 high speed diodes specified
on the BPF board have only 1-2 pF capacitance and <=1.2 ohm forward
resistance.  But the max forward current is 100 mA and voltage is 35 V so
anything bigger than 3.5 watts across them is going to blow the junction
for sure.
