[TenTec] Next on the Aragonaut 509 - output filter tuning

Depends on what test equipment is available.I suggest you adjust the filter
by itself at low power levels, the kind that come out of a signal
generator, not the output of the radio's driver board

It would be really nice to have a spectrum analyzer with tracking generator
to pump a signal through it while viewing the attenuation across the 40
meter band (or more if this filter is also used for 30 meters). Then you
would adjust it for flat response across the whole band and minimum
attenuation, while still having high attenuation at harmonics and image
frequencies.

Without a spectrum analyzer/tracking generator you can do the same thing
with a good signal generator and some kind of power meter. The power meter
could be an oscilloscope monitoring the voltage across a 50 ohm
termination. The effect would be the same as with the spectrum
analyzer/tracking generator, just a lot more tedious.
