Yes good news . But how many hams will buy a radio based on old tech? The Eagle would be better but I  have seen them sell for $650 used with all the filters and in very good shape. Icom 7300 is now $1039 with a power supply . Going to be a hard way to make any money! I would start with a watt meter or something small ,even a antenna tuner. think theres a better market for a $1000 tuner than a $2000 radio thats old tech.

Its not my Co. and he can do what ever . One other thing one might sell is a 1500 watt transistor  amp at much lower cost than his flag ship!

  just hoping  Byron AC9PA

Hi
As my Christmas present, my husband drove me over to Sevierville so I could drop off an Argosy & a Titan IV Digital that have been sitting a while.

While we were there I asked about Ten-Tec's plans for amateur radio. While they said that the gov’t contracts are important, next month they are going to release an Omni VII+ in a metal cabinet, on a limited basis, to test the ham market. The circuit boards will be produced in Ohio, with radio assembly in TN. I have no other information.
