I ran into the same issue with an Omni VI. a front panel switch matrix developed a leakage resistance between a row and column. Stopped uP processes as soon as the interrupt was raised.. I could see the leakage on an ohmmeter, but the condition cleared on its own... never did find out if it was moisture related.
