i have a 6-80 meter ocf   on 3.906 when i speak into the mike the  internal swr goes from 1.0.1 to 9.9.1 this is with the coax to the radio no external components at all i have turned tuner function to off but i do not have the internal tuner option  .so confused

If the built-in ATU is "On", the radio will show different SWR than the external SWR meter.

i have a question for the group, i have a TT omni VII  that was serviced by tt over a year or so.i have noticed the swr in the radio show very high swr ,but my anylizer show low ,also on external meter .i tried a few things.reoson for this is i have a centaur 411 and can only get 400 watta out of so started looking at things .also if some knows who can work on this amp i would like to have it gone over and maybe updated,thanks paul N3TMX    here is my cell if someone wants to chat about my issues .i sometimes better understand.talking on the phone

Look up triad electronic supply in Winston Salem. I don’t see a web page anymore, but on google, there’s still a telephone number. You want to talk to Mike, N4VE.
He has a tech (Keith) who did repair work on my Titan 3 several times, and always fixed it lickety-split.
I had a blown fuse issue with mine several yrs, ago. What worked for me was ordering a 220 surge protector and inserting that between the 220 outlet and the amp. Mine is an ICE model number 338.

Does anyone know anyone who repairs Titan amps?

I’ve got a Titan III that suddenly started blowing fuses.

I tried what little diagnostics I could (checked transformer resistance, separated sections, checked diode stack) with no joy.  I sent it to a generic amateur radio repair tech who came highly recommended on discussion forums (not this one).  He had it several months, said he sent the tubes and transformer for testing, rebuilt part of the power supply, and finally gave up.

Any tips for a Titan repair source appreciated.
