Yes, and good contact cleaner does contain a silicon based lubricant.
I have 2 bottles being 1 dram each of DeOxit, one is blue, one is red.
They are used for different purposes.
One should never us a cleaner that removes the lubricant and the not
replace the lubricant. That is why one should never use the spray
type lubricant.
