Hi All

Now started work on my 2nd paragon:-

A: 1st indication is all the LED tell tales on the front panel are 
illuminated, ( operating mode, filter selection etc)  non will turn off, 
no digits in the display there is however all the legends on the very 
top of the display.

B: 2nd, on the Low Level Amp/noise blanker PCB, the MRF476 get hot very 
quickly, this transistor is driven by a 2n3866, these have been known to 
cause problems, i took it out and tested it, then compared the results 
from the testing of another identical transistor, exactly the same, 
that's either both good or both faulty!

C: Have changed c49,c52-54,c56 on the Logic Board just in case it was a 
problem as advised on the 1st Paragon i worked on.

Have any of you learned gents met this problem before?.
