The exact capacitance rating is not important because when you use it, it
is in parallel with the variable capacitor inside the 238. Of course it
would not make much sense to use a real small capacitance value. And it
doesn't need to be a disk ceramic capacitor. It just needs to have the
voltage and current rating for the service it is in. You could use doorknob
capacitors or any other style that is good for RF.
