Thanks to ALL of you GREAT HAMS who responded to my outcry for assistance with repair of my "beloved" Ten Tec Omni VI transceiver which I bought USED from Ten TEC factory updated to an Omni VI PLUS by Ten TEC. I HAVE OWNED IT FOR 25 YEARS AND DEARLY LOVE IT.
John Rocaro hit the Nail ON the Head when he suggested the "reset". I did just as John suggested and the push to talk works and I can monitor the OMNI Vi on my Ten Tec EAGLE. The exciter section produces enough RF to monitor in the Eagle.
I have no power out from the Omni VI but I can hear the OMNI VI audio feedback from the OMNI VI when I key the OMNI VI up and monitor in the Eagle. The OMNI VI is producing ZERO watts on transmit from the final transistors. Sounds like the Omni VI FINAL TRANSIUSTORS ARE RECEIVING no DRIVE FROM THE EXCITER STAGES OR THE FINAL TRANSISTORS IN THE OMNI VI ARE DEFECTIVE. However, the final amplifier module may not be correctly connected and therefore may not receiving DRIV from the exciter stages.
When TEN TEC updated the OMNI VI to a plus, they installed a "hanging relay" FROM THE FINAL RF MODULE and the mods not having been displayed on the schematic or pictorials, it is really difficult to determine just how the relay was connected from the final RF board. Sounds like a "slip between the cup and the lip".
I apologize for being mentally dense however, I suffered a "closed head injury" on May 28,2024 when my heart stopped beating. .I I was in the front yard watering my rose bushes, when I blacked out and my head struck crushed concrete rocks. My wife of almost 65years Barbara, K5MOL rushed me to the emergency room where they sutured my scalp and transferred me by ambulance to a hospital that treated closed head injuries. The next day, in intensive care, my heart stopped beating five times. They installed a pacemaker and sent me to a rehab hospital for closed head injuries and I spent a month there. Concentration is a problem for me. but I am working on it.
Maybe you can assist me with how and where that relay connects properly.
AGAIN, Thank you, John and all who have been so helpful.

One thing you might try is a cpu reset - button on the right side. The
CPU may be confused and not setting up the band select lines properly.

I say "beloved" because of all the radios I have owned and operated over my 66 years as a ham operator, the Ten Tec Omni VI is the best including Collins KWM 380, KWM 2 and others. I purchased a bandpass board removed from a working Ten Tec Omni VI and installed it in my Omni VI.

> All knob functions and SWITCHES potentiometers, and the clock works well. LOTS of Volume (noise) received on all band positions. VFO works great according to the digital read out. All push button switches work as well as transmit/receive. No RF output in transmit. I need the services of a great OMNI VI technician. Please assist me to get my OMNI VI working. There are NO Ten TEC technicians here in Louisiana. I need to hear from you.
