I bought this rig at a flea and the seller didn't know if it was operable.
It was dirt cheap so I grabbed it. It was worth a chance but I wasn't lucky
this time.
It has noise in the speaker and it switches into transmit with the sidetone
when keyed but doesn't receive signals or transmit a signal.
I did a quick check this morning for the VFO signal by clipping a lead to
C69 to my SDR receiver.  No 4 MHz signal spotted so here's my starting
point.
