That seemed extremely low. I checked out the spots for my own QRP 
operation during SAC SSB and counted 33 spots. DX-Summit must have lost 
some data during SAC SSB.

I just dragged this out of the SK6AW webcluster:

OH2BH CW = 54, SSB = 51
OH0Z  CW = 62, SSB = 79
OH8X  CW = 41, SSB = 47
SK6AW CW = 28, SSB = 56
7S2W  CW = 37, SSB = 48 (CW = SM2EKM M/S)

Altough, there's usually many many more spots on SSB than on CW so the 
point still stands :-)

I am personally in favour of moving away from the WW RTTY contest, or 
perhaps even tossing CW & SSB together on the CW weekend. Anything that 
may make the contest more attractive and increases the number of possible 
stations to work is fine by me.
