CANADA; To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the CBC/Radio Canada, Canadian amateurs 
may use the following prefixes on 1-31 December: VG for VA, VX for 
VE, XJ for VO, XK for VY.

- 20/12 NIUE; ZK2V and ZK2X OC-040

as well. Activity on 160 meters will occur the first several weeks

from Arorangi Beach on Rarotonga by AB7FS (E51AND, ZK1AND and 
ZK2AND), will be QRV in holiday style. He makes slow CW with a 
hand key on 14050 kHz +/- QRM and you can find him also in the 
ANZA net (14183 kHz on 0515 UTC). He writes: "I am not a DXer, 
rather a ragchewer - so please be patient with my operating style. 
I am on the air to have fun, more than working a maximum number of 
contacts in a short period of time." Being a member of the

the CQWW 160m CW Contest (January 27-29th) as a Multi-Op entry and

20/1 - 4/2 PITCAIRN I; VP6T OC-044 
by F6BEE, G3TXF, VE2TZT, FM5CD and F4BKV. Plans are to have three 
stations active round-the-clock on 160-10 metres CW, SSB and RTTY. 
Pitcairn has not seen any large-scale amateur DXpedition operation 
for the past decade, and VP6T has a target of more than 50,000 
QSOs. Efforts will be made to give this extremely rare Entity 
on as many bands as possible, but especially on the low bands. QSL

Digital modes. The team consists of HK1R (Team Leader), HK1MW, 
HK1N, HK1T, HK1X, HK3JJH, DJ9ZB, K4UEE, K5YY, LU9ESD, OH0XX, 
VE7CT, W6IZT, WB9Z and YV5SSB/6. At times there will be as many as 
nine stations QRV with the capability of dual mode operations on

from Uvea Island by HA0NAR and two other operators. They plan to 
have two stations on the air with amps operating on 160-6 meters

especially 160/80/40/30 meters using Spider (18m) verticals. A 
week long side trip will be also organized to Futuna Island (OC-
118) for the IOTA hunters in early February. The team also plans

13/2 - 19/2 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA; K7UGA 
special event operation in celebration of the Arizona Centennial. 
Individual CADXA members will be operating from their home 
stations located throughout Arizona during that week using the 
callsign K7UGA. However, only special operating locations from 
Tucson, Prescott and Phoenix will be on the air celebrating the 
100th anniversary on Tuesday, February 14th, 2012. Operations will 
be on all amateur bands (160-2 meters); and will be using CW, SSB,

by F5RAV. Activity will probably be on SSB and PSK31, and on 160- 
10 meters (including 17 and 12m with a dipole only). He will also 
be in the French REF SSB Contest (February 25-26th) and the ARRL 
DX SSB Contest (March 3-4th). QSL only direct to his home

C56/F5RAV (or possibly another callsign) from Banjul, The Gambia 
(C56), between the two weekends (February 27th, and March 3rd,
