Union (IARU), and to celebrate "World Amateur Radio Day" on April

meters running 400 watts into a Spiderbeam yagi. Operation will be 
SSB only. However, he does have the capability of running 
PSK31/RTTY at rare moments. He states that "OC-185 was last 
activated in 2004 for two days and prior to that in 1999 and is 
only claimed by 20% of IOTA program participants. A strong focus

from Cruz Bay, St. John Island. Activity will be holiday style 
operation. This is not a real DXpedition, but rather Ham radio 
tacked on to a snorkeling trip. He will traveling light: IC706IIG 
and a vertical antenna. I've used this set up all over the world 
with great success and it fits into a simple roller suitcase. I'll

by NK8O/VE3ISD. He states, "I am primarily a CW operator. QRP and 
straight key operators, please be ready! After fighting through 
pile-ups with my QRP station at home, I understand the challenges. 
The rig on this trip will be an Elecraft KX3 and antenna arrays 
will depend on the trees, how high I can get the ropes to go, and 
whether a dipole, loop, or vertical will be the 
best for the site from which I choose to operate. Times and 
frequencies will be published [QRZ.com] before my departure for 
Tanzania, but they definitely will not be written in stone.

from Dauphin Island. KV4T/p will be on 17 meter CW and AJ4T/p on 
20 meter SSB. The others operators will activate the other bands,

from the Island of Miquelon (NA-032, DIFO FP-002 WLOTA 1417, Grid 
GN17). Activity will be on 160-6 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and 
PSK31 (but primarily CW, SSB and RTTY). He will generally be on 
the highest frequency band that is open, and he may try 6 meters 
if there is an indications of openings. Also, look for him on the 
satellites, weather permitting. He will also be in the IARU HF 
Contest (July 14-15th) as a Single-Op/All-Band/Mixed-Mode/High-

IOTA Contest included, the 10-man team will be active all bands, 
modes (160-2m) with special attention on 6m and 160m, if 
propagation allows. A Web site is currently under construction and 
will be ready in a few short weeks where much more info can be

according to that list and ClubLog, CY9 is needed more than 
entities such as Tokelau (ZK3) or PY0T (Trindade & Martim Vaz).

Operators W8GEX K9CT will lead a multi-international team of 20 
operators. The team will operate six stations over a 14 day 
period, from 160-6 meters on all modes. A great emphasis will be 
put on Europe where it is most needed. The current list of team 
members include AA4NN, DJ7JC, DL3DXX, I8NHJ, K5AB, K6MM, K6TD, 
K9CT, KH7Y, N2TU, N6HC, NA6M, ND2T, NI6T, SM5AQD, W4BUW, W6KK,

This will be a holiday style DXpedition with the family, and they

from Tarawa Island by a Brazilian team. Two callsigns will be 
used: T30PY for operations between 160-10m, and T30SIX to be used 
on 6m. It is expected to have 3 stations running simultaneously on 
HF and one on six meters. The following modes will be used: CW, 
SSB and RTTY. EME on six meters may be possible, but not yet

metres CW, SSB and RTTY with five stations at the same time on 
different bands and modes. Their "primary objective is to activate 
Somaliland with a goal of providing as many DXers as possible a 
'new one' with this rare DXCC entity and, as a secondary

(CW/RTTY). Activity will be on 160-10 meters using CW, SSB and 
RTTY, with a minimum of three stations (possibly 5 stations) on
