Vi har den glede av å annonsere at Randy Thompson K5ZD skal holde et par
foredrag for oss på LA Contest Club Contest Forum på Ham Meetingen i
Leto-hallen i april. Vi håper våre naboer også tar en tur.

PRESSEMELDING
CQ WW Contest Director K5ZD, Randy Thompson, kommer til Norsk Hammeeting
2013 som avholdes i Letohallen 19. til 21. april.
K5ZD Randy er virkelig en av de erfarne innen contesting og ble i 2008 tatt
inn i CQ Magazine Contest Hall of Fame. Han har oppnådd gode resultater fra
egen stasjon, og han har vært med i store multi-op team. Han har vært
Contest Director for CQ WPX Contests og i fjor ble han utnevnt av CQ
Magazine til Contest Director for verdens størst contest CQ WW DX Contest.
K5ZD Randy er invitert av LA Contest Club, og han skal holde foredrag på
Contest Forum lørdag 20. april kl 14.00. Han vil holde to foredrag, ett
rettet mot nybegynnere innen contesting og ett rettet mot de mere erfarne
contestere, så her blir noe for enhver smak. Foredragene er under
utarbeidelse og tittel er ikke fastsatt enda.
Gå ikke glipp av muligheten til å høre K5ZD Randy holde foredrag, og også
møte ham på Hamfesten lørdag kveld.



PRESS RELEASE
CQ WW Contest Director K5ZD, Randy Thompson, will attend the Norwegian Ham
Meeting 2013, to be held at Letohallen (close to OSL airport) 19. through
21. April.
K5ZD Randy is an experienced contester and has been inducted into the CQ
Magazine Contest Hall of Fame. He has made major achievements, both from
his own station and also as part of American multi-op teams. He has been
Contest Director for CQ WPX Contests and last year CQ Magazine appointed
him Contest Director for the world’s largest contest, the CQ WW DX Contest.
K5ZD Randy was invited by LA Contest Club and he will be the main guest
speaker on the Contest Forum Saturday 20th April at 2 PM. He will give two
presentations, one intended for beginners within contesting, and one aiming
to be of interest for the more experienced contesters, so there will be
something for everyone. The presentations are in preparation, and titles
have not been finally set.
Do not miss the opportunity to attend presentation by K5ZD Randy, or to
meet him at the Ham Feast on Saturday night.
