Coy, N5OK, and Dave, N5CG, have returned from their trip to Belau.
Coy will provide more info later but here are a few notes:
Coy's TS-940 was damaged on the trip to Belau so he was using an ICOM
731 borrowed from the Catholic Mission His amp (to be used on 160m)
was also damaged and only ran abt 300 watts.
He is disappointed with the 160m results but gave it his best.
Dave had planned to stay thru CQWW-CW but on the day Coy was packing,
Dave's equipment was heavily damaged by a power surge. Since all
equipment was damaged beyond local repair, Dave decided to return home
with Coy. Power fluctuations had plagued them during their entire stay.
Coy says that Murphy was a close companion on this trip.
To hear the details, join us at the Oklahoma DX Association Banquet
on November 9. K5VT and K5FUV are the featured speakers.

Jim Hood, WV5S
