I have had openings to the states on 80 meters the last few mornings.  This is
45 minutes AFTER my sunrise.  Ran 41 stations this morning.  I can be found at
about 3.511Khz and QSX up 1 or so (when the pileup gets thick) starting from
about 0300z.  I recently put up an 80 sloper and this has worked well with my
500 watts.  Hope to see some of you who I haven't worked on 80 during this time.
 

Still no word if I can use the BC tower this season.  I need permission so
until then 160 QSO's are going to be very limited from my home QTH.

Note:  The tower he's talking about is the MW broadcast antenna on a 
mountaintop outside Mbabane.  I've seen the place--it's great.  If he 
makes it from there with a reasonable radio and some power for the 
first time, you can count on a good crack at Swaziland.  Here's 
hoping...
