TopBand: After Sunrise

Although not top band, offered as a point of reference:
I copied JA1YDU in NC up to 1230Z on 80M CW this morning
which is approx. 1.5 hours after local sunrise.  I never could
work him because he never heard me but he was Q5 copy for
about .5 hour.
