TopBand: 1988 propagation?

I'm looking for a source of historical propagation info for a friend doing
some legal research. In particular looking for any data on communications on
160, 80 or 40m on Christmas Eve, 1988, over distances of several hundred
miles in the northeast USA. Any tips would be appreciated.
