Here are some simple suggestions:

1. Move to the beach
2. Install your antenna at the beach and wait till you get a great deal on a
large roll of coax
3. Do not operate at frequencies below 50 Mhz
4. Build a slinky radial system 
5. Move to Ft.Collins and bring lots of salt.
