The band continues to be very good in the morning. VK3AJJ had a
very nice signal this morning as did VK6IM (who worked N7UA). The
ZL beacon on 1818.5 kHz was still coming in 25 minutes after sunrise
(as was VK3AJJ). No sign of UN5J this morning - despite attempts
by N7UA to raise him.

For those not familar with the ZL beacon - it is some sort of
data signal. Listen for it.

No other activity was heard from 1300 to 1350Z.

Last night, the band was slightly quieter than previous nights, but
conditions didn't seem good (judging by the packet reports).

The dipole continues to be the antenna of choice in the mornings.
Does anyone else with both vertical/horizontal antennas notice this?
W7EW has a new vertical, but found his wire worked better. My
vertical is almost always the best in the evening.
