This morning's haul was BV4ME, JA7BXS, XV7SW and VK6VZ. VK3AJJ got
away.  Lessee, that's zones 24, 25, 26, 29 and 30.  Way cool.

XV7SW was in loud and long, for about 45 minutes on 1827, rx on
1824, sometimes with a giant mob of west coast callers and sometimes 
with no takers.  There seemed to be no rhyme or reason at to why
there would be a pileup one instant, then unanswered CQs two minutes
later.  He peaked at 579 on my TS-850.  

As the sun moved up the coast, there appeared to be a general trend 
of pileups of Los Angeles/San Diego guys eventually giving way to 
pileups of Oregon/Washington guys, just as one might expect.

QTH here is Santa Cruz, Calif, about 80 miles down the coast from 
San Francisco, so it's fun to sit here in the middle and observe.
