A week ago someone asked on one of the reflectors why ON4WW was only on 2
bands, and not on 80. Knowing what the situation was, I replied in a
personal message to this person.

The gentleman published my answer on one of the reflectors. Despite that
fact that what was said is all 100 % true, it may not be the best thing to
openly discuss this issue. I think this should NOT be done. It is already
very difficult to get a license AT ALL, and arguing about it may be the end
of it.

May I please ask all to refrain from any further comments on this subject.
And please do not publish this anywhere. The necessary actions are being
taken by the responsible people, through the appropriate channels, to try to
correct the situation. Any further rumblings on the internet might endanger
the negotiations that are currently being set up.

The information, initially intended as a personal response to one person, is
a piece of info that should be treated with caution. Contributing with money
to obtain 'another' frequency is not the right solution to this problem,
although Mark appreciates the gesture from those who proposed it.

Mark, ON4WW, is NOT subscribed to ANY reflector, so he does not see any of
your comments. He only gets a few selected forwarded messages. This is
because he has no pertsonal e-mail address. Mark also asks with instance NOT
to send any persoanl mail to his e-mail address which is at his place of work.

Mark ass all to be understanding. " In time, the amateur radio service will
be re-established as it should
be in 9X, pse be patient."

73 - John, ON4UN for Mark - 9x4ww/on4ww
