The propagation was poor and the log reads 1 worked 5 heard

1831  HA8BE   hrd at 439  knew he would not be able
                          to hear me!
2026  S59Z    449/559     only QSO of the night! Not
convinced this guy was genuine
                          as he never gave my call.
2046- YC0LOW  first hrd at 439 peaked 449 at 2104
-2105                     all I could get was a QRZ
2310  9M2AX   hrd at 579  gave quick call but Ross 
                          did not reply

0015  UN5A    hrd at 439  was calling CQ Test at 30wpm on
                          1841kHz
0028  UY1H    hrd at 439

and about 20 drift net beacons for company through the night!!

A very ABSORBING (!) night methinks

should be on again tonight 22/3
