TopBand: Boring report - N6TR

Last night started off with a bang. PY1BVY was on 1832 - at first
I thought it was IV3PRK (heart failure). It took Ron a while to
hear me, but in the mean time, ZS5K peaked up for a few minutes
and we had a QSO. This was at 03:55 on 1829.1. Greg worked a
number of USA stations during his sunrise.

It was interesting to work Greg - because about 15 hours before the
QSO, I sent him a long internet messge assuring him that we would
be able to work sometime soon on the band.

I think I was hearing a ZS calling DF2PY around 04:10 - but I
couldn't get the call.

Later EM1HO was audiable and in the log at 04:42. Why couldn't one
of the CX boys have shown up?

Listened hard and long for Europe - listening to others work
DF2PY, EA6ACC and EA6NB, but no traces here. My shot at WAC
in one night went down in flames aroud 0535 when I went to bed.
Anyone want a tape filled up with QRN?

This morning VK6HD is coming in about 559. Seemed to be long and
deep QSB instead of the normal fast QSB. Heard a couple of good
signals from JA, but they weren't listening down.

Hope the VK9 folks can get an antenna up soon!
