TopBand: Rotary Flag?

For a space-efficient receiving antenna, what about a rotary Flag? It could
use aluminium tubing for the 29' horizontal sections, with the whole thing
supported from a single pole at the centre. To feed it, a 900 ohm feedline
could run from one of the vertical sections to a matching transformer
attached to the mast:

Any thoughts on a suitable non-conductive mast? I suspect a metallic one
may tend fill in the null.
