TopBand: 1830 Carrier

Dave,

Sounds like John may have ID'ed your specific problem, although I'm
wondering how you can get an 1830 KHz mixing product from those two
particular frequencies.  One other thing to look for is any AM broadcast
stations anywhere near your area operating on 610 KHz.  In our area
(Antelope Valley in Southern California), we have a station (KAVL) on 610
KHz which has a rather strong 3rd harmonic on 1830 KHz.  It varies in
strength considerably and really creates problems in our area when DX shows
up on 1830 KHz!
