The following announcement is from K4ESE:

A maximum expedition effort is in progress for an all band, all mode
assault on KH5, KH5K, and KH1. A preliminary operation may begin as
early as Feb 1, with the team arriving on KH5 on Feb 25. A 48 hr
operation from KH5K is planned later that week. Exact times will be
posted on the reflectors. The team is still short of funds to pull
this off, even after spending and borrowing many k's. The doors to
Kingman and Palmyra are very hard to pry open. That is why the group
is so committed to take advantage of this rare opportunity. All the
equipment is acquired for a three station operation with emphasis on
160 and 80. If you would like to help, please send your check to me
or Mac, WA4FFW. We will hold all checks and return them should the
operation not come off. Operators will include N4BQW, WA4FFW, W4DKS,
N4DAZ, KA4IST, KH6UY, and K4AU. The equipment is waiting on the dock
at KH6, but $4k more is needed for the boat.
