TopBand: 160m Intruders

This subject comes up periodically. These are
beacon transmitters attached to
buoys on drift nets or longlines to aid fishermen
in locating them. Why they are
in this freq range, I have no idea but it makes
listening for the weak ones on
Top Band difficult!
