TopBand: WTVN 610 high power FCC application (fwd)
Fri, 31 Jul 1998 08:44:52 -0400 (EDT)
Looks like this could affect 1830 for many people in Ohio, Michigan, and
Kentucky. Estimated field strength on the application is 2000mv/m @ 1km.
Anyone with ideas on how to oppose this change please respond to me or

Subject: WTVN 610 high power FCC application
While it won't do any good, I would like to write a letter to the FCC
opposing the WTVN application to increase night-time power to 50kW and a
N/S 8 tower array pointed North from Circleville. They are already
objectionably loud on their 3rd harmonic now on 1830, even if it is legal.
With 10db more transmit power, and a huge gain array, they will kill us on
I know it is probably a waste of time, but maybe it will get their (WTVN)
Can you provide the name and address of the FCC office to file comments?
