TopBand: elevated radials

Has anyone had an opportunity to compare the "K3LR" switched sloping dipole
configuration with a quarter-wave vertical using 100+ radials?  To me, if
one only had a 180-foot support <g>, this would make for the "ultimate"
160-meter transmitting antenna.
