This was received from The Daily DX but was forwarded too late to
be of use. I am forwarding it for info only. Perhaps Thailand
will eventually permit normal 160/80 operation. 73, Bill W4ZV
"The Thailand Post Telegraph Department has granted an extended range of
frequencies, to that which was previously reported, for use by all Thailand
HF Class Operators in the CQ WW CW 1998 Contest only. The privilege was
requested by the Radio Amateur Society of Thailand (RAST). Normally 160/80m
+ WARC bands are not permitted in Thailand.
160 metre = 1.834 - 1.850 MHz
80 metre = 3.524 - 3.526 MHz and 3.534 - 3.536 MHz"
