8Q7: No news here but everything seems to on schedule for 8Q7IO and 8Q7IQ.
They should start operation today. Check out http://www.qsl.net/8q7io for
online information and logsearch (no info available yet at this moment).

Also, listen for the other German lowband activities:

9Y4: 9Y4/DK6WL (Tobago) is on 160 every night now. The team uses a Titanex
V80E vertical. They are unfortunately suffering from QRN, can hardly copy
Europe and still have no beverages. The call used for the CQWW next
weekend will be 9Y4NW. QSL for this and only this weekend via DL4MDO.

C5: C56A (C56T in the Contest) is the other BCC team. The should have the
lowband antennas up by today. QSL via DL5NAM.

CN: DL6FBL will be in the contest as CN8WW. Don't expect much topband
activity since he had to reduce his antenna plans drastically due to high
transport costs. He said that he will mainly reply to CQ calls on 160
during the contest.

D6: Herman, DJ2BW, called me yesterday on the phone. Everything is ready
for his Comoros trip from Oct 25 to Nov 7. The expected call possibly will
be D68BW. His 160 antenna will be a 20m high vertical just a few meters
away from the ocean. He will try topband every night starting around 22z.
QSL via DJ2BW.

They all answer QSLs 100% via the bureau.
