TopBand: EU6AF story

I would like to thank both Gary and Rys for their time and efforts in
bringing resolution (for some of us) to this issue. I can understand that
there are folks that simply don't want to be bothered with QSL cards, but
it is difficult for me to understand why they would refuse to allow a QSL
Manager to take care of the cards for them. There are QSL Managers that
even provide cards for those who can't afford them. It would appear that
Toly has no interest in even this sort of arrangement. I won't try to
guess what Toly's motives would be for the "no QSL" policy. Clearly both
Rys and Gary have gone to a great deal of time and effort to assist fellow
Hams with this Top Band confirmation. After nearly three years of trying
multiple Direct mailings, WF5E's QSL Service, and Registered/Return
Receipt, I had all but given up on the EU6AF QSL. The card is "in the box"
and I can't express enough my appreciation for their efforts. It is
refreshing to see that the Ham Spirit is alive and well! Again, my sincere
thanks for a job well done.

                               Hi, dr TopBanders!

I think You remember story about receiving EU6AF QSL-cards (thanks
Gary,EU1TT, and Rys,SP5EWY). I would like add little info about
it. You are must be happy - 29 or 31 HAMs who will receive(or already
received) EU6AF QSL(via EU1TT/SP5EWY). I have just received message
from Gary with some details about that voyage.

Gary writes that Toly, EU6AF, isn't member of National Radioamateur
Organization, isn't member of QSL bureau(doesn't get incoming
QSL-cards from the bureau approximately 3-4 years!). He wouldn't like
send QSL-cards(of course he doesn't have personal QSL-cards)and
wouldn't like to have a QSL manager. He also didn't inform about the
reasons his non-desire to have a QSL-exchange. So You never receive
QSL from him(even inclose 100$).

But Gary(thanks for his courage) visited Toly without invitation
because Toly didn't answer on his letters. Only after little scandal
Gary got a desition to print and send QSL-cards(only SP5EWY
request). The only one circumstance helps to made it. Few years ago
Gary presented Toly some rare transistors and Toly promised to send
him some tubes(which he, of course, didn't send). Only after reminding
about it Toly gave solution. But it costs so much nervs and time, so
Gary wouldn't like to have anything connection with him.

It is all about EU6AF story.
