Topband: Ralph, 5H3RK...

Ralph is using a Butternut on a tin roof – no radials. Still some work to be done
on the tin roof. He would like to have the same full size Inv. L antenna he used
for 160m from Z21HS, but no trees or high buildings nearby. Instead he have
more neighbors (TVI) at this QTH. He is also complaining on a high noise level.

Ralph asked me where to find info on “the Spread F effect”, used by VK4YB and his
SEANCE Net (SouthEast Australia to North America Communications Exchange Net).
I found nothing in John, ON4UN’s latest “Low-Band DXing”. Is there another name
for this?
